Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Creator Finder is a search and outreach workspace that helps you discover creators, artists, brands, agencies and industry professionals, and draft messages to contact them. We built this policy to be honest and plain: we tell you what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and password (stored as a hashed credential, never in plain text) when you create an account, plus your name if you provide it.
  • Searches: the search terms you run and the results you view, so we can cache them, show your recent searches, and improve relevance.
  • Saved contacts: the creators and professionals you save to your workspace, including any notes you add.
  • Drafted messages: the outreach messages you generate and edit, stored on the contact record you own.
  • Lead details: if you fill out the getting-started form before subscribing, we store your name, role, and city (and approximate city from your IP) so we can tailor suggestions to your industry.
  • Usage data: counts of searches and messages drafted, used to enforce your plan limits and show your usage.

Why we collect it

We use your data to run the service: to authenticate you, power your searches, save your contacts, generate and store your drafted messages, enforce your subscription plan limits, and improve the quality and relevance of results over time. We do not build secret profiles of you to sell to anyone.

We never sell your personal data

We do not sell your email, your searches, your saved contacts, or your drafted messages to any third party. We do not share your personal data for cross-context advertising. Your saved contacts and drafted messages are visible only to you and, where needed to operate the service, authorized administrators of this app.

Third parties the service relies on

  • Stripe processes subscription payments. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Data providers behind search. Your searches are powered by web-search and data providers, and by ScrapeCreators, a social-media data provider that returns public profile information from platforms such as Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. These providers may receive your search query to return results.
  • Email delivery for account verification, invitations, and receipts.
  • Analytics to understand aggregate usage (for example, how many searches happen per week) and to measure marketing conversions.

Each provider processes data under its own terms. We share only what is needed to perform the service, never more.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and browser-local storage to keep you signed in, remember your recent searches, and remember that you have completed the getting-started form. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites. You can clear local storage from your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out and reset your recent searches.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. Lead details submitted before subscribing are retained for a limited period and then pruned. If you delete your account, we remove your saved contacts and drafted messages within a reasonable time.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your account and the personal data we hold about you.

To make any of these requests, email the privacy contact below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

Creator Finder is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
